    1. I’ve been here quite a few times and it is always creepy. Adding to the creepiness factor is that it’s down an old dirt road and on the side of a hill. During the day it’s not too bad and fun to look around, but at night I almost can’t go inside it at all. It’s overgrown and doesn’t look very well maintained, probably due to the location since it’s in an area of the foothills which is protected by law to help the local plant species’ thrive.

Because I’ve hiked the trails around the cemetery often. I’ve visited it often, as well. I find myself drawn to the old cemetery, and I’ve doing some historical research of my own. I’ve not ever found the cemetery “creepy”; I’ve not felt or seen anything to suggest malevolence on any level. I do think one’s expectations will color the experience. Ms. Creeped out might.study her own expectations . Possible she’ll find whatever she felt within. You may also be undet a misread about applicable law

    2. A haunted military cemetery? What the hell? I’ve never heard about or seen any haunted graveyards infested by ghosts yet. I’ve heard that Arlington National Cemetery was haunted but I do not think that it is true at all. Another haunted military graveyard is Gettysburg National Cemetery is located at the Gettysburg National Military Park. There are no such things as ghosts because they’re not even real.

    3. I went there last night and out of no where I got this really cold feeling and then it got really warm it wasn’t a breeze but as if I had drank a bottle of ice cold water then downed a mug of hot chocolate my friend had touched one of the tombstones and felt someone grab his shoulder and pull him backward then the flag in the back started to fly but there was no wind at all…

    4. I was up there a few buddies of mine a few nights ago and we brought along an EVP I bought and we caught this very strange sounding voice on it. It’s a pretty big piece of land and we were on the other side of the cemetery. I can’t make out what it says on the recorder but it’s very strange and very creepy sounding. Kinda sounds like scratching.

    5. Again I went up there with a buddy of mine and caught another EVP and it’s clear as day. It’s women saying “she reads alone at night”.

    6. I’m looking for a place to visit that’s super haunted, but I’d prefer it to be in the boise area, my friends and I have been wanting to do this for awhile

    7. Thanks for the reads! I like seeing paranormal enthusiasm like this locally.
This cemetery is where I have brought multiple skeptical friends and family to not be one any longer. No joke.
One perticular time I told my closest friend that if you go after dark and make too much rukus or be disruptive that a man will convey his disapproval. From beyond the grave.
He didn’t believe me and took a ten person group inside after dark to smoke weed and be dumb while I sat in wait.
I wasn’t disappointed as usual here, he let out a thunderous “Silence!” From a corner of the gates with no one there or any possible explained voice so loud.
As they ran to the cars in fear, I walked out picking up a couple trash pieces discarded by the fearful stoners. Turned around as I closed the gate, said thank you for the time and sorry for the disturbance.
      Love this cemetery.

    8. Years ago I went to this place. In the day it is fine but I did find bones and blood near the flag looked like a satanic ritual. Went back the next night the tree had appeared to move and the gate had closed on it own when my friend went in he had no way to get out. Till two of us pulled the gate open. I have seen children and a woman who seems to protect them and a darkness that she protects them from. I know the old school I had see. A lady in the attic there is a man in the basement and at times you can see soldiers marching. Believe what you want I know what I saw!!

    9. For those of you who may be skeptical about the authenticity of the Ft Boise Military Cemetery. Let me place your wonders to rest. In 2004 I was there with 2 of my friends at the cemetery late at night about 12:30 am, (ya I know its illegal, but whatever), so we were walking around the cemetery and I was walking down the middle path that goes thru the center of the site. After passing a bench in the middle of the path I felt the hairs on the back of my neck go up. So ya, that doesn’t mean anything. Until you add in the little girl statue that came to life in the MIDDLE of the walk way, which is NOT supposed to be there. She screamed in my face then immediately disappeared into nothingness.

      • Alright everyone, this cemetery is no joke, I go back to 1981 I was 6 year old boy who ventured up that road with my sister who was 9 and her friend Jeff was 10 and then went into the cemetery, my sister went to the top middle section and I followed and then went down to the east gate and as my sister and her friend walked out, I followed and turned around to see a black shape witch following me from the north east farthest tomb stone. I ran out of the cemetery as fast as I could a quarter mile down the road I stopped and turned around and there she was on the side of the hill and I sprinted to the old canal and ran back to Fort boise soft Ball field where my father was playing a game. I’ve never been more scared in my life and I believe she is out to scare or curse. To this day I still go there to talk to her but I never go inside.
