Fairleigh Dickinson University has haunts in two halls, according to campus legend. In Lenfel Hall, witnesses have seen an apparition of founder Peter Sanmartino, and lights turn on and off on their own. And at the Mansion, many have seen a ghostly girl dancing in a white dress.

  1. On the weekends when I was in college I would often go visit my two friends that attended Fairleigh Dickinson.Being young and ignorant we would mess around with a spirit board. We came in contact with a spirit that gave the name E.Fallon.He said he was the secret lover of Elizabeth Vanderbilt. She was however engaged to be married and her fiancĂ© killed him when he found out about their affair. The board told us to walk to a tree in campus that has name of college sweethearts carved in it.He told us to go around the back of the tree to the ivy and look for his and Elizabeth’s initials.About 25 feet into the ivy was where his body was buried an unmarked grave. My two friends and I immediately went to the tree and there we found his and Elizabeth’s intials E.F + E.V. and the patch of ivy.We also encountered orbs and one time a face in pictures. Also, while messing around with the board another time we asked the spirit to give us a sign. Two seconds later package of bread flew off the top of the refrigerator and into the center of the kitchen.Oddest part is that it landed straight up.We tried recreating how this could have happen, but where it landed was too far from the fridge and also trying to get it to and straight up again was impossible because the bag was full.Be careful in this place and do not taunt the sprints that still call Fairleigh’s campus home.
