    1. My family stayed back in summer of 2001.. I as well can say this place is haunted.. doors opening by themselves, scratching on the walls, the windows being hit.. we were the only ones staying there. We had originally booked the room for a week, you bet your bottom dollar we left after the first night.

    2. My family was staying in estes park and we visited the elkhorn lodge with our old dog well my parents learned that one perticular room I cant remember the room number but it was haunted by a lady. So my old dog always went up to that exact same room anytime we were in the lodge, my parents were curious what was our dog doing up there so my parents went up there and my dog was just sitting there but there was no one in the room except my parents.

    3. In the late 1990s, my wife and I were in Beaver Creek for a wedding, and on a spontaneous whim, decided to visit Estes Park. We arrived at dusk with absolutely no plan and no place to stay. By a complete coincidence, we pulled into the Elkhorn Lodge parking lot with absolutely no prior announcement or reservation. The lot was completely empty. We entered the lobby, and directly in front of us stood a black plastic marquee with white push-in letters that said, “Welcome Mike and Kristie.” My wife’s name was spelled correctly, there were no other guests and there was no possible way they knew we were coming. Needless to say we didn’t stay, but we spoke briefly to the man behind the front desk who, for the life of me, I can’t remember what he looked like.
