  1. Driving back from wroughton to Avebury at 430am, I’m a milkman, driving along green lane so the sat nav said. Around 2 miles along I saw a tall man stood in a field looking straight at me he/she/it, had a grey shoulder length hair ghant face and long coat ,my body filled with electricity and my eyes welled up within an instant. I sped up and never looked back. I’ll go another way home In future.

    • The only Green Lane in the area is Green’s Lane which is a single track residential street in Wroughton. Did this happen on the main road leading connecting Wroughton to Avebury (A4361) or on that small back road while still in Wroughton?

  2. I recently played music at The Crown Inn and was set up with my back against a bookcase. I was sweating as I was performing and there was no air movement when I felt like there was a breeze on the back of my neck. I thought it odd, but wrote it off until I read a recent article about a ghost here, written a week after the event.
