Perhaps as early as 1913, Chester Little Theatre was known as the Dreamland Theatre. Sometime in its long history, something must have happened to render it a hot spot for supernatural activity: Witnesses here claim to have seen apparitions and heard strange noises.

  1. I worked with Chester Little Theatre from 1985 til 1988. There was a closed Mortuary located to the left of the building with offices and an elevator that had been used to bring bodies to the embalming room on the top floor. When you enter the theatre, beside the concession stand is a stairway that leads to the 2nd floor and the funeral home rooms. The building was fun to work in and explore. We never really had any strange occurrences, but its history always made interesting nighttime work sessions during play rehearsals.
