    • Haha W R O N G !!!! They even have a room that NO ONE is allowed in and the workers won’t mess with it to even clean it.
Have partied there MANY MANY MANY nights growing up at the bar, pike days festival, to get to the point, I grew up with the owners adopted children. U walk in there and feel the change in the air, it’s what’s amazing about old homes/hotels like this, its history feels it had never left. Now the footsteps part, knowing how the kids were, could have been one of them sneaking out and jump3d from the window. If you know the boys, then your most likely laughing at this comments accuracy.

  1. There are so many antiques in here and the building was used during the whiskey rebellion, so it has a plethora of history. It depends on what you consider haunted, I found it creepy but I didn’t have anything grab me/see any apparitions. Sometimes it might feel like someone is watching you or following you down the hallway. This place is definitely worth visiting, unless you want a “hardcore” ghost experience-the staff is great, the food is amazing, and in my opinion it is creepy enough to make it worth visiting or believe in orbs/are interested in getting pics of orbs.

    • I got a nice pic outside the Inn about 7 yrs ago. An off white colored floating head was following
a couple people that just left the Inn. it wasn’t a typical fake Orb that are common in pictures. this was off in the distance and had detail. I didn’t notice it with my eyes I discovered it after I uploaded my pics from that day. Those pics and several other great pics from Gettysburg are on my old PC ill have to get them off of there and post them some day.

  2. I had my wedding dinner reception at century inn also stayed there my one year anniversary (overnight) it is such a cool mysterious place but we didn’t see anything or hear anything. Atleast not anything to make us uncomfortable. We also drank in the little bar room in the bar area and we didn’t experience anything strange. Amazing food and very nice people. In fact there was another couple spending the night there for their anniversary 🙂 they said its a tradition for them

  3. My husband and I stayed at the Inn about 10 years ago and then just recently. 10 years ago we were staying across the street from the Inn at Zephannie Riggle’s House of Entertainment. It was there that my husband and I both awoke in the middle of the night and jumped and gasped because at the end of the bed, there was a ghost!! We will never forget it!! We changed rooms and went across the street to the Inn and were treated to a wonderful breakfast! We love this place!!

  4. The cold room it true. The place has a feeling of never being alone but also something intriguing. It isn’t an evil feel but almost like having company always around. The atmosphere there is wonderful and the people who run the Inn are fantastic. The Inn is certainly interesting like a step back into the past. Overall one of the best places I have ever stayed.

  5. This building has unfortunately burned down and is awaiting renovation/rebuilding as of 3/5/17. In case anyone was planning a trip to visit….

  6. We were there for dinner in August 2005. I’ll never forget it. We went in to be seated and there was no other diners there except for a couple we saw upon entering. We reach the hostess and she said something like you’re our first guests this evening. There were four of us in our party and we told her what about that couple who is dining. We came to the other end of the wall and looked into the dining room and there was no one there. The hostess explained it may have been a couple of their ghosts. None of us were afraid, it felt like the most natural thing had occurred. I’ll never forget it. The one and only time I’ve experienced ghosts.
