Carlsbad Lagoon

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Carlsbad Lagoon

This site used to be a cemetery between 1885 and 1906. Full-bodied apparitions are seen along the lagoon and sometimes mysterious voices are heard mumbling.

  2. Bonjour,

I have experienced several paranormal activities, and even encountered spirits of native american walking every night along the house where I live in chinquapin Ave,I got some pictures with my phone, they are angry spirits, it seems like every Friday night that is when their ritual starts around the fire, and I have seen them being burned alive in the Era of 1780, where it used to be a concentration camp for native American, back then near the ships! Hundreds of men, women and children being burned alive presumably they are carrying cholera! and that is where they have been buried after that!
I finally moved to another property in Batiquitos lagoon, but spirits or Ghosts still following me till this day!

  3. This makes sense. My grandma’s mansion is overlooking this lagoon & I stayed there alone for about 4 months house sitting. I had my keys moved to the place I only ever put them, a hook near the garage entrance, to inside a faux potted plant upstairs near a little window nook, I literally never went nearby. Again I was staying there alone and no one else was in the house. My keys were missing for a few days until I just happened to see part of my keychain from the corner of my eye.

I have about 3 more stories, nothing scary although her basement you had to access from the backyard was creepy. It was half dirt & half cement. My grandma’s house was was only 6 months old when she bought it from the previous owners who were divorcing, so it has to be related to the land or something and she lives right on the lagoon.
