Carl Beck House

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Carl Beck House

All the houses built by late-1800s lumber magnate Carl Beck of Beck Industries, those constructed for himself and for each of his daughters, have a signature tower-like structure on one corner; this building now houses apartments. Beck’s daughters are said to haunt the Beck houses on Fox Street and also on Church Street, appearing as apparitions in the upstairs windows, watching the activity outside their homes.
