Canyon Ferry Mansion Bed and Breakfast

You are here Home  > Hotels and Inns >  Canyon Ferry Mansion Bed and Breakfast

This historic manor house was the scene of a murder in the late twentieth century, but residents and guests of the now bed and breakfast inn have reported spirits far before then. The building is believed to have up to eight ghostly guests, including a weeping woman, a shadowy lawyer who likes to move things around the office, a floating woman who haunts the porch, as well as a phantom piano player and a spectre who smokes cigars. A terrifying apparition haunts the chapel, and materialises as a ghostly pair of glaring eyes.

  1. When I was around 10 years old, my cousin that I was staying with for the summer, worked there. I would go with her to work every day and help out with chores. When I was upstairs remaking a bed one day, I went to the closet in one of the rooms to grab a new sheet. The closet door wouldn’t open, I was pulling and twisting the handle. My cousin then said from across the room “Harry, knock it off”. Then the door opened. It had no lock on it! Also one time later at night, I was upstairs and saw headlights coming up to the house, so I went downstairs thinking it was the owner getting home. When I got down there, no one was there but my cousin in the kitchen. She said she didn’t see or hear anyone. I ALWAYS got the creeps when I was there!!!
