At California Lutheran University’s Mount Clef Dorm, the apparition of a young boy is said to roam the upstairs 300 hall. Mud has appeared and then disappeared in beds, and pillows have been thrown across rooms after being yanked from under sleeping residents, followed by sounds of crying and whimpering. To explain it, students say the dorm was built on the site of a hotel where a boy was killed.

  1. I lived in Mt. Clef (upper 300 section) during my freshman year at CLU. While I did not personally experience any of the paranormal claims myself, many of my friends who lived in Mt. Clef reported exactly what was stated in the above description. The most reported claim was students waking up with their pillows not under their head, but located across the room far away from where they were sleeping in their bed. A whimpering sound was also reported often, however, most of us just assumed it was one of the many residents making noise or messing around.

  2. I lived in the upper 300s and my best friend was my sweet mate sharing a joining bathroom and closet. In the middle of the night there was an odd strange scratching at my door. Unfortunately either one of our roommates was staying in that night. Then I felt presence along my bed, and I freaked out so I threw my covers carefully over my head and held my breath. It was the weirdest sensation and I closed my eyes even tighter and begged for sleep and for the boy to leave me alone. The next morning I ran over to my best friends room through the bathroom and told her, if she had a weird experience last night. She had also described the experience as mine. The boy did for sure paid us a visit. And one of her posters was flipped upside down. I don’t believe in ghosts but if I ever had an encounter with one that was for sure one.
