At the Black Nugget Museum, folks have reported footsteps, ghostly pranks, a piano that plays itself, and a ghostly man with a handlebar mustache who appears in an upstairs window, say neighbors. A medium once declared that the spirit of a Native woman lingers in the building.

My friends and I were out around being teenagers, and we walked in the rotting deck and tapped on windows to see if anyone lived there, when we didn’t get any response we got bored and went back around the side of the deck we noticed a light had turned on then we were met and screamed at by a man with a handlebar moustache and he cursed at us and said him and his wife were trying to sleep and when we ran away we realized there was no window or door that wasn’t boarded up and no where he could’ve came from, and he made no noise when he came out, we would’ve heard his footsteps because it was a creaky rotting deck.
