Aqua Club

Before this building became a night club and closed down, it was a celebrated local eatery. The owner became an alcoholic after his wife died, and both him and his legendary restaurant quickly fell apart until it went out of business. A night club built on the premises was closed down, and ever since, passer-by’s have seen the former owner staring down from the windows with a sad expression on his face.

I used to go to that night club, a strange man (ghostly ) figure would move around. I would see him in different places through out the club an always sad. When I would go to the rest room their would be a women in there asking me why I was there and who all these people were’ and I would try to talk to her thinking she was just a drunk women incoherent’ but would just up an disappear.

  2. I used to be the general manager of Club Aqua when it first opened. I helped design open and operate it with Robin Harris in 1998 I can tell you first hand the place was haunted. The bar backs refused to go Into the basement where the mob supposedly killed people and hid their bodies in the tunnels that ran under the cuyahga river . Doors would open and close and lock on their own , you would hear voices clear as day in the upstairs apartment. It was like a time capsule from the 1960s . There were 5 or 6 bedrooms up there and a huge living room and kitchen. Across the hall we had the office .there was one room locked up in the center of their up stairs we were told not to go in there. But of course we did. And found piles of old documents and news paper clippings about murders that had taken place since the 1940s along with photos of jims steak house going back to the beginning . The place used to be used as a headquarters for the mob between New York and Chigaco. When we took over there were 27 different telephone numbers coming into the building. One night at an employee meeting we decided to use a ouija board to contact the dead. We stirred up some evil shit. The very next day was the beginning of the end.
