Altru Hospital

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Altru Hospital

Also known by its former name United Hospital, the building is said to be haunted by a ghostly elevator that makes runs on its own in the night. Staff members working at night have seen apparitions inside the elevator when it opens on their floor. The alarm system is said to be triggered by shadow figures in the psychiatric ward, and video cameras have caught the shadows as they seem to slide under the doorway and appear on the other side.

  1. My mom works on the third floor, and she goes in pretty early and is usually the first one there. She goes through the back door and when she gets to the elevator, she says that it’s already opened and the third floor button is lit up.
