Air Lanes Bowling Center

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Air Lanes Bowling Center

According to local legend, behind the bowling alley is an upstairs area that was used for illegal gambling in the 1920s. Reports say if you gain access to a room down the hallway, you may hear people talking, dice rolling, and you may even hear a ghostly disembodied voice calling your name. It is unclear from reports whether this area is open to the public; take care not to access private property without permission.

  1. I actually lived in an apartment above this bowling alley in 1996. You can hear the pinsetters upstairs but I never remember hearing anything else. There is 3 separate apartments above the center. 2 of which share an outside entrance that leads to a long hallway. Within the hallway there is 3 doors. 2 of which are the apartments and another that was chained closed and deadbolted. This room sounds like what you are describing. Maybe the noises I was hearing really wasn’t the workers in the back, but in fact what you are speaking of. It is a private entrance, so there is no public access to this area.
