The house at this address is apparently haunted by a malevolent spirit that many people believe to be Sam Mohawk a Native American mass murderer who was hanged for murdering a woman and her five children near the place this house stands.

    • Kori — I am from the area and the home is a private residence. From what I understand there are tenants who occupy the dwelling and an absentee landlord. You could always try knocking on the door, but they probably are irritated by the number of interested people who probably do the same thing.

  1. I know where they buried Sam Mohawk its in butler above the hospital in a mans actual yard he said his house is haunted because of it. I did his roof last winter. I walked over the corpse daily for a couple weeks. It’s the only purple house above the hospital on a brick street I can’t remember the name Of what the street is now but I don’t think its woods street if you drive around up there it’s an old Victorian home painted purple.. He’s laid to rest 10 feet from the road in the side yard you can still see a slight depression in the yard about the size of the grave. Freaky . So ya I agree 133 keister rd has nothing to do with Sam Mohawk I live less than two miles from the stone house that place might be haunted but no one is ever there to let you in it because the university now owns it.
