    Historic Elitch Gardens Theater

    Majestic Theater

    Dating back to 1912, the historic theater achieved notoriety when the ‘Marx Brothers’ performed a vaudeville act there in 1916. However, the theatre is also renowned for its ghostly inhabitants, including a ghostly child and Julia Remmington, a former owner. (Submitted by Callum Swift)

    Historic Sooner Theater

    The 1929 Sooner Theater is haunted by the ‘White Lady’, the apparition of an elegant woman in a white dress seen descending the main staircase. Others claim to have heard the wails of a crying baby. The theater is a stop on the local ghost tour. (Submitted by Callum Swift)

    Royal Court Theatre

    A caretaker named Les slipped on the icy roof and broke his leg, later dying of exposure to the cold. Whenever unaccountable events occur, figures show up in photographs, noises are heard, or something is seen, the saying is: “It must have been Les”. (Submitted by Chris Berglund)

    Old Gaslight Theatre

    The old theatre has now closed down. However, the place is apparently still haunted by the ghost of a man known as ‘Alton’, the former owner of the adjacent mercantile. Witnesses say his footsteps can still be heard throughout the building. Submitted by Callum Swift
